Solar Panels

Solar Concepts uses the best grade A, tier 1, photovoltaic panels. The main brand we use are the 400 watt Risen all-black modules, offering a 25 year product and performance warranty. Warranty, performance and a competitive price point were key when deciding on our main panel brands we supply.

The other brand we use as a sightly higher end option, are the Jinko 395 watt all-black modules, offering a 30 year product warranty and a 25 year performance warranty.

We do supply different solar brands such as REC, Trina & Longi upon request.

When exposed to light (even on a cloudy day) the solar panels generate Direct Current (DC) The electricity needs to be converted to Alternating Current (AC) which is where the inverter comes into play. It converts the AC to DC, so the solar can directly power whatever it is you’re running in your home.

For maximum efficiency, the solar panels are installed in specific configurations to match the input voltage requirements of the inverter. They are either installed on the roof of your home or garage, or ground mounted with purpose built railing equipment.
